Stroll through the village.

What we have tried to achieve here is a little stroll through the village to give you an idea of what to expect from your stay in Northton. The village is around 1 mile from tip to toe. As you stroll through the village you will note the homely feel and traditional crofters life. Common to the village is open grazing, and it is not unusual for cattle, sheep or goats by the roadside or in the fields, you may even awaken to animals grazing or even noding their heads over the back fence of the cottage. Village life is easy going very quiet and peaceful with no hustle or bustle, only fresh air and peace and quiet. As you stroll and by the time you reach the MacGillivray Centre you are now only a step or two away from the hills with some glorious walks, or maybe even a visit to the villages own beautiful white sandy beach. In the pictures that follow we take a stroll through the village and on to a 16th century medievil chapel (Iron age).....the Chapel being only one of the many beautiful things to see, or walks that can be taken whilst living in Northton.

Enjoy...
